Assistant Director of Human Resources

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office has an opening for Assistant Director-Human Resources. We are looking for someone who can provide strong HR leadership and assist with all human resources functions.

Key duties include:

Scheduling, reviewing and evaluating the activites of the Human Resources staff
Administrative support through analysis and various assigned projects
Assisting District Commanders and Supervisors in personnel matters
Administering and monitoring all agency matters concerning the Family and Medical Leave Act and Light Duty/No Work Status
Oversee the agency's Drug Free Workplace Policy
Assists in recruiting and promotional efforts

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field and minimum three years' supervisory experience in Human Resources. Pay range $82,458.00 to $131,931.00. Suzanne Alexander may be reached at View phone number on monroecounty.hiringplatform.com. EEO/AAP
