Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented, compassionate, and organized full-time Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both administrative and clinical tasks, traveling to patients’ homes and/or medical facilities in the Oklahoma City, OK region, while ensuring the utmost patient care and satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Clinical Duties: Check vital signs. Review medical history. Address chief complaints. Administer medications and vaccinations as directed. Perform EKGs, wound care, and other diagnostic tests. Administrative Duties: Schedule appointments and manage patient flow. Maintain and update electronic health records (EHRs). Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and route messages. Handle correspondence, billing, and medical documentation. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred. Certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) is strongly preferred. 1+ years of experience in a medical office or clinic is a plus. CPR / AED preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology and EMR systems preferred. Key Skills and Competencies: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Compassionate and professional demeanor. Familiarity with HIPAA and OSHA regulations. Work Environment: Traveling to patients located in their homes or medical facilities. May require standing for extended periods and some lifting. May involve exposure to bloodborne pathogens and other health hazards.
