Daytime Newborn Care - 6 week contract

Overview A lovely family in McLean, VA is looking for an experienced Newborn Care Specialist to provide daytime care (7am-7pm) for their newborn from mid December through the end of January, and over the holidays. The ideal candidate for the role is someone who is gentle, loving and warm, who is comfortable working closely with parents. Open communication is important to this family, who appreciates an NCS that is able to talk through their strategies to help/support the family. Responsibilities Provide daytime newborn care (7am–7pm) for the newborn. Work closely with parents and communicate openly about strategies to help/support the family. Qualifications At least 3 years of newborn care experience Experience as a newborn care specialist with at least 5 families Experience and knowledge around sleep conditioning, establishing routines, feeding routines, and developmental milestones Must be legally eligible to work in the United States Must be willing to work during the holidays Excellent communication and organizational skills Local to the DC area or have local accommodations Covid vaccination and boosted if eligible #J-18808-Ljbffr White House Nannies Inc.
