What You Will Do Administer nursing care to residents under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse. Assist with treatments and procedures and carry out selected duties within the nursing plan of care. Responsibilities Collaborate with the RN to collect data about residents, determine priorities based on identified needs and goals. Contribute to the plan of care through collaboration and effective communication with the RN and other healthcare team members. Under RN direction and within scope of practice, comply with nursing policies, procedures and standards to provide safe, quality care. Administer medications and monitor IV therapy as ordered and per established policies and standards. Provide emotional support to residents and their families. Go between houses on campus to provide care and pass medications to residents. Required A current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of New York. Pay Range $24.00 - $31.10 per hour. Pay based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The range may also vary by location.
