Facilities Technician - Plant Maintenance

Facilities Technician Location: Providence Holy Cross Medical Center, Mission Hills, CA Shift: Perdiem, 8-hour variable shifts Job Summary The Facilities Technician provides maintenance services throughout the Providence Holy Cross Service area, performing repairs on electrical equipment, air conditioning controls, plumbing, drain snaking, carpentry, painting, plastering, and other assigned duties under the general supervision of the Facilities Manager. Responsibilities Perform repairs on electrical equipment, air conditioning controls, plumbing, drain snaking, carpentry, painting, plastering, and other assigned duties. Maintain all Providence buildings in the San Fernando Valley Service Area. Work under the general supervision of the Facilities Manager and follow all safety and quality standards. Qualifications Coursework or training: 2-year trade school degree or certificate in mechanical, air conditioning, electrical, welding, automotive, or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial or industrial maintenance and repair in settings such as hospitals, hotels, or high-rise buildings. California Fire and Life Safety Card within 30 days of hire. Strong knowledge of commercial building maintenance best practices. Preferred Qualifications EPA 608 certification upon hire. Compensation Pay range: $27.92 – $42.73 per hour. Additional compensation may include shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, bonuses, or other incentives.
