This full-time, contract opportunity spans multiple school sites, serving learners from Pre-K through transition age (22). Qualifications & Experience:

• Current, active clinical license from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) is required
• Active Illinois licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
• Skilled in adapting and implementing occupational therapy interventions for students across a wide age range
• Must be comfortable traveling between school locations within the district
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with educators, therapists, families, and students
• Completion of required fingerprints and credentialing prior to assignment

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students, following treatment plans designed by occupational therapists
• Support students in acquiring life skills and improving participation in school activities
• Collaborate closely with supervisory OTs and educational teams to monitor student progress and adjust strategies
• Maintain accurate documentation of services and progress notes in compliance with school and regulatory requirements
• Develop creative, engaging activities that foster independence and participation in diverse classroom environments
