Registered Nurse Medical Surgical

Job Summary:
Provide high-quality, patient-centered care on a Medical-Surgical unit, ensuring safety and comfort for diverse patient populations. Collaborate with the healthcare team to support effective treatment and recovery processes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and monitor vital signs to identify any changes requiring intervention.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Document patient care activities accurately within the EMR system.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and team members to coordinate care plans.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies during scheduled shifts.
• Adhere to infection control, safety standards, and unit policies.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid registered nurse (RN) license.
• Possess BLS certification.
• Have at least 1 year of hospital experience, preferably in a med-surg setting.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Be open to feedback and exhibit a collaborative, owner mentality.
• Prefer candidates with 3+ years of nursing experience.
