Clinical Staff Pharmacist - Sun Valley, Nevada

A 13-week contract opportunity is available for a Clinical Pharmacist on the night shift at a 175-bed hospital. The position offers a schedule of 7 nights on, 7 nights off, working 10-hour shifts. Immediate start is preferred.


Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses providing pharmaceutical consultations
• Manage pharmacokinetics and ensure optimal medication therapy management
• Utilize IT systems including EPIC and Pyxis for documentation and medication dispensing

Qualifications:

• Active Nevada pharmacist license required
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Ability to effectively work overnight shifts
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
