Additionally, Walgreens matches qualifying student loan payments as if they were 401(k) contributions What You’ll Do Provide compassionate, expert‑level pharmacy consulting services to patients Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost‑effective options Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative and supportive environment Who You Are Patient‑focused & service‑driven – You’re committed to making healthcare personal A collaborative team leader – You support, inspire, and uplift those around you A lifelong learner – You stay ahead of industry advancements and professional growth A problem‑solver – You navigate challenges, from insurance claims to medication management, with ease Basic Qualifications BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire Preferred Qualifications At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems and insurance We will consider employment of qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
