HVAC Maintenance Technician

Akima Intra-Data (AID) seeks a qualified HVAC Maintenance Technician to work on-site. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance on all HVAC equipment and components according to manufacturers' recommendations (valves, motors, belts, bearings, filters, lubrication, etc.). Learn basics of equipment management controls (Metasys, Siemens, TAC) to start and stop equipment properly during preventive maintenance. Identify and repair any potential problems found on HVAC equipment during preventive maintenance and notify supervisor of any discrepancies. Requisitions and maintain stock of replacement parts used in repair of facilities equipment. Read and interpret work orders. Assist HVAC mechanics in the performance of routine maintenance and repairs to systems. Perform other duties as required or assigned by supervisor or management. Qualifications Two years of verifiable related HVAC maintenance/troubleshooting experience or formal HVAC training certification from an accredited institution. High School diploma or GED equivalency. Valid U.S. Driver’s License. Ability to pass a National Agency background check.
