Growing together.The full-time, exempt, Staff Pharmacist will have the opportunity to apply your clinical expertise by evaluating and interpreting medication orders and dispensing prescriptions in accordance with legal and professional standards. You will play a critical role in identifying, preventing, and resolving medication-related issues to ensure safe, effective, and individualized patient care. Through the application of evidence-based protocols, you will promote clinically sound and cost-effective drug therapy, contributing to improved patient outcomes and advancing the standard of pharmaceutical care.About the Facility: Fulton State Hospital has 440 hospital beds and is the oldest forensic public mental health facility west of the Mississippi River. This facility has been providing mental health services since 1851 and is certified by both the Joint Commission and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. The pharmacy is open Monday-Friday from 8am to 4:30pm. CPS has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.Schedule: This position is full time, 40 hours per week with a typical work schedule of Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm with a 30 minute lunch break.Primary Responsibilities:Review, verify, and dispense medication orders to ensure appropriateness, safety, and accuracyProvide clinical pharmacy services, including medication therapy management and pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoringCollaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to optimize medication regimens for hospitalized patientsOversee sterile and non-sterile compounding activities, ensuring compliance with USP and hospital standardsMonitor patient outcomes and medication safety, identifying and preventing adverse drug eventsSupervise and support pharmacy technicians and interns, ensuring efficient and compliant workflowEnsure regulatory and accreditation compliance, including Joint Commission, state, and federal requirementsYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:ACPE-accredited pharmacy degree (PharmD preferred)Active MO state pharmacist license in good standing1+ years of recent pharmacist experience, (hospital setting preferred)Skilled with pharmacy systems and Microsoft OfficePay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $91,700 - $163,700 annually based on full-time employment.
