Intermodal truck driver

Average pay: $1,380-$1,680 weekly

Home time: Daily

Experience: 3 months or greater CDL experience

Overview

• Haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis.
• 99% no-touch freight that is 90% drop-and-hook.
• Drive in and out of railyards within Southern California.

Pay and bonus potential

• Mileage pay and load pay, plus hourly pay while on duty, not driving.
• Paid orientation.
• Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year.
• Annual bonus: Earn up to 3% of annual gross pay each year.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Drivers on this account are required to drive at night.
• Tanker endorsement and HazMat endorsement are strongly preferred.
• TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Card) required at time of hire.
• Live within 20 miles of Fontana, CA.
• Minimum 3 months of Class A driving experience.
