Key Account Manager-Data Center Liquid Cooling System for Google/Nvidia/OpenAI/COLO

Location Plano, Texas. Remote work may be considered for suitable candidates. Job Responsibilities Build a comprehensive map of the decision‑making chain within target clients to identify multi‑level business opportunities across new campus constructions, rapid capacity expansions, and technical upgrades. Formulate differentiated penetration strategies, tailoring approaches to Nvidia or OpenAI's focus on speed and density and Colo clients' focus on standardization and scalability. Drive partnership upgrades with Nvidia or OpenAI and Colo clients through joint POCs, technical certifications, and master framework agreements. Technical Roadmap Alignment & Solution Steering: Deeply understand AI compute expansion roadmaps (TPU/GPU cluster scaling, deployment density, deployment cadence) and the evolution of cooling requirements as the industry moves from air cooling to liquid cooling, addressing high‑density rack cooling bottlenecks. Proactively identify alignment opportunities and gaps for Midea’s cooling solutions to guide and influence headquarters R&D teams in planning and positioning products ahead of the market. Job Requirements 1. Experience & Background Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business; MBA preferred. 10+ years in the data center/critical infrastructure industry, with at least 5 years serving North American Hyperscalers, AI‑native companies, or top‑tier Colo clients. Proven business experience with AI giants (Google, Nvidia, OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI, etc.) and Colo clients (Equinix, Digital Realty, etc.). Insight into AI compute expansion trends and the core infrastructure requirements for speed, density, and scalability. Familiarity with Colo business models, technical standards, and supply chain practices (nice to have). Track record of advancing POCs into master framework agreements. 2. Professional Skills Deep understanding of data center thermal management systems—air, water, and liquid cooling—especially in high‑density AI deployments. Speed‑to‑market execution: knowledge of AI clients’ deployment timelines and the ability to design accelerated solutions. Colo standards: familiarity with standardized design specs and reliability/maintainability requirements. Commercial acumen: strong negotiation, pricing strategy, and contract clause review; able to calculate and propose TCO. Compliance: knowledge of North American data center standards (Uptime Tier, TIA‑942, ASHRAE). 3. Core Competencies Communication & Influence: deliver solution presentations and engage at the CXO/VP level, using speed and TCO as key arguments. Technical Acumen & Vision: translate AI compute trends into technical inputs for cooling solutions and supply chain readiness. Agility & Responsiveness: adapt to rapid decision‑making, adjust strategies, and drive internal resource responsiveness. Cross‑Cultural Bridge: navigate Midea’s China headquarters culture and translate requirements between regions. Self‑Drive & Local Decision‑Making: make independent judgments and swift decisions under defined strategic direction. Ecosystem Connectivity Established network of technical or procurement contacts within AI clients (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) or Colo clients (Equinix, Digital Realty, etc.) is highly preferred.
