Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years OR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract opportunity is ideal for a skilled RN with a background in perioperative care, ready to assist a wide scope of surgical cases and contribute to high-quality patient outcomes. The role offers flexibility with either 8 or 10 hour shifts, alongside periodic on-call responsibilities, allowing for a varied and engaging work schedule.

Schedule/Hours:

• Choice of 8-hour or 10-hour shifts
• On-call required: one weekday every two weeks, weekend call rotation

Key Qualifications:

• Current and valid RN license
• Minimum of one year of recent Operating Room experience
• Proficiency in orthopedics, Davinci robotics, neurosurgery, general surgery, and gynecology procedures
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Ability to function effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced surgical settings
• BLS certification (additional certifications preferred)

Core Responsibilities:

• Circulate and/or scrub in a variety of surgical cases across specialties including orthopedic, neuro, general, DaVinci, and GYN
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to promote optimal patient safety and care
• Maintain a sterile field and adhere to all infection control protocols
• Monitor patient status intraoperatively and respond promptly to any changes
• Assist in pre-op assessments and post-op care transitions as needed
