Service Advisor

Role Description The Service Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based at Paretti Mazda in Metairie, LA for a salary based pay ranging from 60,000-90,000 dollars a year. This role involves greeting customers, listening to their vehicle concerns, and accurately documenting service needs. The Service Advisor coordinates with the technicians to schedule and prioritize repairs, explains service recommendations and costs, and secures customer approval for work to be performed. Daily responsibilities include creating repair orders, providing status updates, reviewing completed work, and ensuring customers understand maintenance and warranty options. The role also requires handling phone and in-person inquiries, managing follow-up communication, and supporting aftersales initiatives to drive customer retention and satisfaction. Qualifications Strong customer-focused service skills, including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction. Ability to deliver consistent, high-quality Customer-focused Service in an automotive environment. Clear, professional Communication skills for explaining technical information and service options. Experience or familiarity with Aftersales processes, including follow-up and retention activities. Previous automotive service advisor or related dealership experience preferred. Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair terminology. Proficiency with computer-based service management systems and standard office software. Ability to work on-site full time, multitask in a fast-paced environment, and collaborate with technicians and sales teams.
