Job Summary:
Physical Therapy Assistant position available in a community setting. The role involves providing patient care and rehabilitation services following established protocols. The position is suitable for professionals with at least one year of experience and is scheduled for day shifts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Texas Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license; license in Utah (UT) does not contract travelers residing in Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, or Morris counties; at least 1 year of experience as a PTA; certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in outpatient clinics, rehabilitation hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, or community health setting; proficiency with gait belts, prosthetics, post-operative care, and managing patients with neurological and musculoskeletal conditions
• Additional Information: The assignment requires screening for skills such as crutches, shoulder slings, wheelchair use, and postoperative rehabilitation procedures. Onboarding involves completing core items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing, with modules completed onsite during orientation.
