• Position: Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
• Employment Type: 13-week travel nursing contract
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910-$2,010
• Location: Geneva, Ohio
• Start Date: December 13, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks, ending March 13, 2027
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM-7:30 AM
• Work Arrangement: On-site emergency department

Emergency Room RN Job Requirements

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of professional nursing experience, preferably in an emergency department or other acute-care setting
• Recent experience providing patient care in a fast-paced emergency services environment
• Ability to work scheduled 12-hour night shifts and provide safe, effective nursing care throughout the assignment
• Completion of required clinical competency, skills, health, and professional onboarding documentation
• Strong patient assessment, triage, prioritization, communication, and teamwork skills

Emergency Department RN Responsibilities

• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity and presenting conditions
• Provide timely emergency nursing care to patients experiencing illness, injury, and other emergent needs
• Monitor patient conditions, identify changes promptly, and escalate concerns to the appropriate provider
• Administer medications and treatments safely in accordance with orders, policies, and professional standards
• Perform nursing procedures, maintain accurate documentation, and support continuity of care
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, technicians, and other members of the emergency care team
• Educate patients and families while maintaining a calm, compassionate, and professional approach
• Promote patient safety, infection prevention, and compliance with emergency department standards
