Senior Interior Designer

• Work directly with Principal to implement interior design solutions for each project from conception through installation
• Draft full set of architectural drawings for building permit submittal
• Source furnishings, finishes, lighting, plumbing, art & accessories
• Prepare project presentations and meet with clients to convey vision
• Prepare furniture proposals and track purchases and delivery
• Work with fabricators, vendors and subcontractors to ensure project deliverables, timelines and quality execution
• Communicate and collaborate with clients in a professional and organized manner.
• Maintains detailed and extensive project documentation including records of all key decisions, phone conversations, approvals and sign-offs, and notes from project meetings.

Required Qualifications:

• Professional degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
• 8+ years of work experience in high-end residential interior design
• Skilled in AutoCAD
• Strong communication, presentation and organizational skills
• Well-rounded exposure to all phases of interior architecture + design, from conceptual through construction administration, procurement, and installation
• Ability to work on several projects at once and keep projects within budget and on schedule

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup, Rhino 3D software, Enscape rendering
• Experience with ordering cabinetry
• Local candidates only (Daily commute should be less than one hour to Palo Alto)
