Director, Multi Line Risk Engineer

In short, We Enable Possibility.Job SummaryThe Director, Multi Line Risk Engineer is responsible for conducting Middle Market field surveys and providing service support. This role involves both on-site physical surveys and virtual/phone surveys, with a focus on detailed assessment of operations, exposures, and control adequacy. The position aims to protect the future of the company and ensure profitability through timely delivery of industry-leading safety and risk management solutions.ResponsibilitiesConduct on-site and virtual/phone surveys of prospects and clients evaluating complex exposures and controls for auto, general liability products liability, property and workers compensation.Summarize findings in internal reports with appropriate loss improvement recommendations.Conduct multi line loss analysisSummarize findings in internal reports with appropriate loss improvement recommendations.Provide support and recommendations to underwriters, policyholders, and brokers.Prepare and conduct presentations to serviced accounts.Participate in special projects and possibly become a Subject Matter Expert.Required SkillsCompetency with NFPA, OSHA, and DOT standards.Competency with Microsoft suite tools and applications.Good communication skills for working with underwriters, policyholders, and brokers.Solid time management skills.Experience with ergonomics, life safety and prem ops exposures.Ability to evaluate sprinkler system adequacy and calculate loss expectancies.Strong consultative skills and the ability to complete detailed reports and assist clients with recommendation compliance.Desired SkillsStrong analytical skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Education/ExperienceEngineering, Safety, Risk Management or comparable degree/experience.A minimum of 7 years of industry experience in a safety-related role; property and casualty insurance experience highly desired.Possessing relevant professional designations or certifications such as ASP, CSP, CFPS, or ARM is highly desirable.#LI-JD1#LI-HybridArch is committed to helping employees succeed through our comprehensive benefits package that includes multiple medical plans plus dental, vision and prescription drug coverage; a competitive 401k with generous matching; PTO beginning at 20 days per year; up to 12 paid company holidays per year plus 2 paid days of Volunteer Time Offer; basic Life and AD&D Insurance as well as Short and Long-Term Disability; Paid Parental Leave of up to 10 weeks; Student Loan Assistance and Tuition Reimbursement, Backup Child and Elder Care; and more.
