Bardstown Motor Lodge is looking for a Hotel General Maintenance Technician (PT)The Hotel General Maintenance (PT) position entails maintaining the physical environment (inside/outside) for assigned buildings, executing work orders, performing landscaping duties, servicing the pool, and ensuring the building is clean and stocked with supplies.ResponsibilitiesPerforms maintenance of electrical systems (replacing light bulbs, ballast, outlets, switches)Maintains heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality. Provide preventative maintenance of HVAC systems (air handler coils cleaned, replace filters and belts)Conducts general upkeep (landscaping) and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry, appliances, drywall, windows, etc.) Performs manual repairs when necessary.Keeps the pool clean and up to safety standards.Reports any unsafe conditions to Management. Conducts preventative maintenance throughout property including guest rooms, public spaces, kitchen, restaurant, storage, and office areas.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsMinimum high school or GED required.Previous experience in hotel maintenance is preferred but not required.Weekend availabilityKnowledge of electrical, plumbing and HVAC systemsStrong knowledge of tools, common appliances and devicesMust possess a valid driver's licenseDeadline, detail and customer service-orientedAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule form.Our Company: Weyland Ventures, Weyland Ventures Hospitality, Common Bond Hotel Collection.Weyland Ventures is a multi-disciplinary real estate development firm known for creating unique mixed-use properties in urban areas across the nation.
