Operating Room Registered Nurse - Orthopedics and Neuro/Spine

Location: Plano, Texas

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Wednesday to Friday, 11 AM to 11 PM. Requires 5-6 call shifts per month, with call options available from 11 PM to 7 AM (Monday to Thursday) or from 7 PM to 7 AM (Sunday night).

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse with a strong background in Orthopedics and Neuro/Spine surgeries. The ideal candidate will be part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment, responsible for providing high-quality patient care during surgical procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain the surgical environment, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to facilitate effective and safe patient care.
• Monitor patient vital signs and react appropriately during procedures.
• Assist with positioning the patient and maintaining patient safety throughout the surgical process.
• Perform assessments and document patient care in EMR systems.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
• Experience in Orthopedics, Neuro/Spine, and Robotics preferred.
• Certification in BLS and ACLS is required.

Dress Code: Scrub color: Ceil blue or Royal blue for nurses.
