Part-Time Organic Chemistry and Bio Chemistry Tutor Needed

Join our amazing team at San Antonio GradePower Learning. Gain valuable teaching experience!

We teach after school and evening hours as well as Saturdays. No relocation packages are available. You must commit to working for at least the school year. Your students will come to rely on you.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one tutoring in college-level Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry.
• Explain reaction mechanisms, synthesis, spectroscopy, biomolecules, metabolism, and enzyme function.
• Tailor each session to the student’s coursework, learning goals, and upcoming exams.
• Identify gaps in understanding and help the student develop independent problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in chemistry, biochemistry, or a closely related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
• Strong command of both Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry.
• Experience with one-on-one tutoring or teaching.
• Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and patiently.
• Reliable availability and strong communication skills.

• Evenings
• Monday to Friday
