Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity serving students aged 3–21 in a thriving environment, supporting functional, academic, and developmental growth across multiple campuses. You’ll play a vital role, working full-time on-site, covering 6–7 schools within a designated area near the Houston metro while utilizing a district office as your home base.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Texas OT license required
• Eligible for Texas state fingerprinting and background check
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings
• Comfortable working independently and managing a varied caseload
• Open to highly qualified COTAs with several years of relevant school or pediatric experience
• Must NOT have been previously employed by this district or terminated by any school district (affidavit required)

Responsibilities:

• Manage a rotating caseload—approximately 70 students, with 30–40 receiving direct services and the remainder on consultation
• Deliver individualized therapy in accordance with students’ IEPs, ranging from weekly to bi-monthly sessions
• Conduct assessments, participate in ARD meetings, and ensure documentation via SHARES, Onward, and Excel logs
• Operate independently as the lead OT, coordinating services for assigned campuses
• Coverage within a set zone, minimizing commute and supporting work-life balance
• Adhere to established schedules (typically 8:00–4:00 or 7:30–3:30), full-time only (37.5 hours per week)
