About the Role

The Company is in search of a Deputy Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to join their security leadership team. The successful candidate will be a key player in the company's mission to protect the information assets of the organization and its customers. This role is pivotal in establishing and maintaining the enterprise vision, strategy, architecture, and a multi-year information security roadmap. The Deputy CISO will be responsible for leading a team that focuses on identity access management, risk and governance, data governance, catastrophic recovery, and fraud prevention. A significant aspect of the position is the ability to communicate security at a strategic level to executive management and to evangelize information security across the business to ensure the adoption of security best practices. Applicants for the Deputy CISO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, with a graduate degree preferred. A minimum of 10 years of IT and/or business leadership experience, including at least 5 years in information security/cybersecurity, is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivering quality solutions in a SaaS environment, leading globally diverse teams, and working closely with C-suite executives. Extensive knowledge of security, risk, and control frameworks, as well as professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA, is essential. The role demands a natural influencer and coalition builder with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, excellent communication skills, and experience in incident and crisis management. While not mandatory, experience in the healthcare technology industry, particularly in payer and provider spaces, is a plus.
