Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse - Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum Schedule This is a night shift position from 18:45 to 07:15. Job Description The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing full-scope care in Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) settings. This role requires competency in intrapartum management, immediate newborn stabilization, and postpartum/couplet care for stable mothers and infants in a rural hospital environment. Responsibilities Circulate C-sections and manage high-risk labor. Perform Pitocin titration and fetal monitoring interpretation. Participate in neonatal resuscitation and postpartum/couplet care. Transition between labor, nursery, and couplet assignments based on changing needs. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Valid RN licensure. BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association or American Red Cross). NRP certification preferred. WHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring and STABLE certifications preferred.
