We are seeking a senior back‑end software engineer to join our technology team. Responsibilities Consult with internal business groups to provide high‑level application software development services and technical support for backend features and components. Scale backend architecture and codebase to support organizational growth and evolving business needs. Provide comprehensive senior‑level technical consulting to IT management and senior technical staff, including evaluating compliance with technology standards. Program well‑designed, testable, and efficient code; analyze, design, and develop tests and test‑automation suites; maintain software functionality and currency. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience. 9‑11 years of experience in software development; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus. Extensive experience in backend development in Java and multi‑platform development tools and toolkits. Prior lead experience selecting and implementing vendor‑specific methodologies and consulting experience with structured methodologies. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills to support mentoring and teamwork.
