What You'll Do

• Assist in cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) procedures as a Certified Surgical First Assistant or CVOR RNFA
• Perform endoscopic vein harvesting and other surgical assistance duties
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
• Prepare and maintain sterile surgical environments
• Adhere to all safety protocols and hospital policies during procedures
• Support pre-operative and post-operative patient care activities
• Document all assistance and interventions accurately within hospital systems

What You Need

• Current Louisiana RN license or Compact license
• Certification as Surgical First Assistant (FA) or CVOR RNFA
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in CVOR or similar surgical setting
• Knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures, endoscopic vein harvesting, and OR protocols
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
