We currently offer an opportunity for a full-time nights, Registered Respiratory Therapist to support patients in our acute care hospital in Conneaut. A Brief Overview The therapist is learning and incorporating the mission statement and standards of behavior of his/her hospital or care facility. This therapist performs basic competencies within orientation and provides satisfactory respiratory therapy with minimum supervision. What you will do includes: Mechanical ventilation, medicated aerosol delivery, airway clearance therapy, patient monitoring, oxygen and humidity therapy, special procedures (CPR, specialty gases, bronchoscopy, transport, etc.). Additional responsibilities include performing other duties as assigned, complying with all policies and standards, and must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients.

Qualifications include an associate's degree in respiratory or a bachelor's degree in respiratory, 1+ years of respiratory therapy experience, registered respiratory therapist (RRT) certification, basic life support (BLS) certification, pediatric advanced life support (PALS) certification, current RCP Ohio license granted by the Ohio Medical Board, AARC membership within 6 months of hire date, and NRP certification (neonatal facilities) required within 6 months. Position details/preferred qualifications include at least one year of recent, critical care experience, the ability to work independently, and (3) 12 hour night shifts, Mon-Fri, every 3rd weekend, and rotating holidays.
