Warehouse Associate (3rd Shift) - Steel Manufacturing

Location: Springfield, OH area
Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Pay: $18.75/hour

Now hiring a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate for a well-established steel manufacturing facility. This is a great opportunity for candidates with shipping and receiving experience who are looking for steady third-shift hours and long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

Verify incoming and outgoing materials against shipping documents; report discrepancies or damages
Route materials to designated storage locations efficiently and safely
Rearrange and maintain organized inventory within the warehouse
Inspect stored materials and report any signs of deterioration or damage
Pull materials from storage and prepare them for shipment
Maintain accurate inventory records and support warehouse operations

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required
Previous shipping and receiving experience preferred
Overhead crane and forklift experience strongly preferred
Ability to read and interpret work orders, tape measures, and calipers
Basic math, reading, and writing skills (assessment required)
Ability to distinguish colors accurately

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet production goals
Must be capable of meeting the physical demands of the role, including:
- Lifting up to 50 lbs independently
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, pushing, and pulling
- Occasional climbing
Position involves physical activity for approximately 95% of the workday
