Ophthalmic Technician Needed!   No ophthalmic experience? We’ll train you!

Northwest Eye Surgeons is a nationally recognized ophthalmic medical and surgical practice seeking a motivated, patient-focused Per Diem Ophthalmic Technician to join our team.

• Training provided: No prior ophthalmic experience required. We’ll help you learn the skills needed to succeed.

• Welcome patients and obtain medical histories.
• Learn to perform ophthalmic workups and diagnostic testing.
• Assist physicians and support patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
• Help keep examination rooms organized and patient appointments running smoothly.
• Educate patients on eye conditions and care instructions.

This is a per diem, as-needed position. Hours will vary based on clinic staffing needs and patient volume.

• Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year of experience as an ophthalmic assistant preferred; Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) or Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) credentials preferred.
• Basic knowledge of medical coding terminology and conventions preferred.
• Commitment to maintaining relevant education, training, and professional development.
