All Jobs > Facilities Maintenance Technician Rhode Island / Eastern Massachusetts Facilities The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for completing work orders, preventative maintenance, and tenant requests in a timely fashion to ensure excellent customer service and that our properties are safe, clean, and well maintained. Requirements Full time (40 hours/week) with occasional overtime opportunities possible and part time schedules available also In-person work at job sites in and around the greater Boston area (travel required, company vehicle provided). Occasional travel to RI sites may be required. Responsibilities Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion Estimate time and extent of repairs Perform routine preventive maintenance Maintain material and supply inventory Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Must have a clean driving record and current driving license in good standing to operate company vehicle CORI / Background check required Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields Knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, painting and electrical systems Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment Ability to handle physical workload Deadline and detail-oriented Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion Estimate time and extent of repairs Perform routine preventive maintenance Maintain material and supply inventory Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary Salary Description Commensurate with experience and qualifications #J-18808-Ljbffr Blackridge Properties, Inc.
