Construction Project Manager - Healthcare/Life Sciences

Project Manager – Commercial Construction Salary: $120,000 - $160,000 per year Job Details We are seeking a Project Manager to take full ownership of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is responsible for financial performance, subcontractor management, and overall project execution. Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Execution: Develop project plans, schedules, and milestones; Lead preconstruction efforts including RFP development and buyout; Run internal and external project meetings. Operations Management: Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and pay applications; Maintain document control and reporting systems; Track and update project schedules; Ensure quality control and timely material procurement. Subcontractor & Client Management: Negotiate and issue subcontracts and purchase orders; Manage subcontractor relationships and performance; Oversee project closeout and punch list completion; Maintain strong client relationships throughout project lifecycle. Financial Oversight: Manage project budgets and cost tracking; Lead monthly cost reporting and forecasting; Identify and mitigate project risks; Negotiate and manage change orders. Qualifications 10+ years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred. Strong financial acumen and project controls experience. Excellent communication and client‑facing skills. Ability to lead teams and drive project outcomes. Highly organized and detail‑oriented.
