Immediate opening for a receptionist/ vet assistant in a mixed practice.
Duties include:
- Answering phones, filling scripts, assisting clients with their pets during office hours, scheduling appointments , placing orders with vendors, inventory management, prepping samples for lab analysis and animal care for hospitalized pets.
- The ideal candidate should have at least an associates degree in a related field. A BA or BS is preferred.
- A minimum of 3-5 years in the veterinary field is required.
- Candidate must be familiar with canine, feline and equine products and services.
- Require an individual who enjoys interacting with clients and their pets and has a positive outlook.
The work week is Monday-Friday 9am-5pm with a 30 minute lunch break. No weekends. Starts at $20-$22.00 hourly depending upon qualifications. Paid holidays. Paid vacation after one year.
