Description ICC Healthcare (Intensive Care Consortium) is seeking a Critical Care Intensivist to join the Trident Health System in Charleston, South Carolina. Specialization Critical Care Nephrology Critical Care Anesthesiology Critical Care Internal Medicine Critical Care Pulmonary Critical Care Emergency Medicine Job Summary Critical Care Intensivist responsibilities include ICU rounding, clinical support, clinical teaching, and serving on a 15-shift monthly schedule. Qualified Candidates Critical Care Board certified or eligible—most critical care specialties considered. Active South Carolina Licensure or ability to obtain. Ability to work full time. Available 2026. Schedule Structure, 15 shifts per month: Core coverage at Trident Medical Center: 12-hour shifts across days and nights. Shared campus coverage at Summerville Medical Center: ICU rounding and clinical support of the 24/7 APP; 2-3 hours onsite and night on-call around 5 shifts per month. Trident Medical Center: 28-bed Med/Surg, CVICU, and Trauma ICU—2 MDs during the day, 1 MD and 1 APP at night. Summerville Medical Center: 12-bed Medical ICU—24/7 APP coverage in house, MD during day and night call from home.
