Intensive Care / Coronary Nurse (ICU)

Job Title: Intensive Care / Coronary Nurse (ICU) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care / Coronary Nurse (ICU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 3 years of previous ICU experience preferred License: Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required Certifications: Healthcare Provider Level AHA BLS required Must-Have: AHA ACLS and NIHSS required. PALS and TNCC preferred. Verification of high school diploma or equivalent required.

Description: The Intensive Care Unit provides direct care or influences care for acutely and critically ill patients. These patients are at high risk for actual or potential life-threatening health problems. The ICU provides care through advanced knowledge and experience. Care is delivered in a setting that offers intensive monitoring, assessments, and interventions.
