Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist

Schedule

This position requires availability for the shift from 07:00 AM to 05:30 PM.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

The Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist is responsible for providing care within the specialty of cardiovascular electrophysiology. This role may require performing various procedures that assist in diagnosing and treating electrical disorders of the heart.

Responsibilities

• Administer and oversee electrophysiological studies and interventions.
• Provide direct patient care in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
• Document all patient care activities according to professional standards.
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures, risks, and post-care requirements.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active certification from ARRT-R required.
• Preferred certifications include Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) and Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES).
• All relevant licensure and certifications must be up-to-date prior to starting the position.
