Parma Tavern is seeking experienced, energetic, and hospitality-driven Servers to join our team. For years, Parma Tavern has been a neighborhood favorite, serving an eclectic mix of Italian-inspired pub fare featuring stone oven pizzas cooked in our 600-degree brick oven, fresh pasta with made-from-scratch sauces, house-ground burgers, shareable appetizers, and an extensive selection of craft beer, wine, and handcrafted cocktails.

We're looking for experienced restaurant professionals who can confidently manage multiple tables, thrive in a high-volume environment, and deliver exceptional service during busy lunches, dinner rushes, weekend brunches, and late-night service. The ideal candidate is guest-focused, dependable, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating memorable dining experiences.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum of two years of recent full-service serving experience preferred
• High-volume restaurant experience is strongly preferred
• Ability to confidently manage multiple tables while maintaining exceptional service
• Strong knowledge of beer, wine, liquor, and craft cocktails
• Ability to make thoughtful food and beverage recommendations
• Excellent menu knowledge or the ability to quickly learn and retain product information
• Strong attention to detail and order accuracy
• Exceptional guest service and communication skills
• Proven ability to multitask while remaining calm under pressure
• Dependable, punctual, and prepared for every shift
• Positive attitude with a true team-first mentality
• Flexible availability, including weekends and late nights
• Desire to grow with a stable and successful restaurant

Position Responsibilities

• Welcome every guest with friendly, attentive, and genuine hospitality
• Guide guests through the menu and beverage selections with confidence
• Recommend food pairings, craft beers, wines, cocktails, and featured menu items
• Accurately take and enter guest orders into the POS system
• Manage multiple tables while delivering consistent, attentive service
• Monitor guest satisfaction and anticipate needs throughout the dining experience
• Upsell appetizers, desserts, specialty beverages, and featured menu items
• Maintain accurate order timing and communicate effectively with the kitchen, bar, and support staff
• Deliver food and beverages efficiently while ensuring presentation and accuracy
• Process guest payments accurately and responsibly
• Complete opening, running, and closing side work
• Follow all responsible alcohol service, food safety, sanitation, and company standards
• Support fellow team members to create a seamless guest experience

Schedule & Availability

Parma Tavern is busy throughout the day and into the late evening. We are looking for team members who are comfortable working a variety of shifts and understand the demands of a high-volume restaurant.

Applicants must have availability for:

• Lunch service
• Dinner service
• Weekend brunch
• Late-night shifts
• Weekends and holidays
• Opening and closing responsibilities as scheduled

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of recent serving experience preferred

• Strong knowledge of craft beer, wine, spirits, and cocktails
• Ability to remain organized and composed during busy services
• Strong multitasking and time-management skills
• Excellent guest communication and relationship-building abilities
• Ability to stand and move throughout the restaurant for extended periods
• Must meet all legal requirements for serving alcoholic beverages
