Physical Therapy AssistantWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of physical therapy principles and techniques, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping patients improve their mobility and overall quality of life.Responsibilities:- Assist the Physical Therapist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients- Provides skilled physical therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders under the supervision of a Physical Therapist- Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and functional training- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed- Educate patients and their families on proper home exercise programs and self-care techniques- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe therapy environment- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to patient care- Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in the fieldRequirements:- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant- Knowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred- Strong interpersonal and communication skills- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment- Knowledge of electronic medical record systems- Flexible schedulePreferred Qualifications:- Experience working in an outpatient or inpatient physical therapy setting in long term care facility- Knowledge of a variety of therapeutic modalities and techniquesBenefits:- Competitive salary and benefits package- Opportunities for professional growth and advancement- Supportive work environment focused on patient care and employee satisfaction
