Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and friendly Laundry Attendant for a direct hire opportunity in New Iberia, LA. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys helping customers, keeping a clean and organized environment, and working in a steady retail service setting.

The Laundry Attendant will support daily laundromat operations, assist customers, process Fluff & Fold laundry services, and help maintain a welcoming, professional store environment. This role offers a positive team atmosphere, supportive leadership, an employee discount, and the opportunity to grow with the business.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet customers, answer questions, and provide friendly, professional service.
- Wash, dry, fold, and package customer laundry for Fluff & Fold services.
- Operate washers, dryers, and the point-of-sale system safely and accurately.
- Keep the laundromat clean, organized, and stocked throughout the shift.
- Sweep, mop, wipe down machines, empty trash, and maintain a clean customer area.
- Report equipment issues, maintenance concerns, or supply needs to management.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $10.00 to $15.00 per hour.
- Job Type: Direct hire.
- Location: New Iberia, LA.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Assist customers with laundry services and general laundromat questions.
- Complete wash, dry, fold, and packaging tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and supply levels throughout the store.
- Process customer payments using the point-of-sale system.

- Less than 1 year of experience accepted.
- Friendly, dependable, and motivated with strong customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and stay productive throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment.
- Reliable transportation required.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and moving throughout the shift.
- Must be available for weekends and holidays as needed.
- Background check will be conducted before hiring.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous laundromat experience.
- Retail or cashier experience.
- Customer service experience.
- Cleaning, housekeeping, or hospitality experience.
- Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required.
