Job Description Escort patients to exam rooms and obtain medical histories Prepare patients for examinations and procedures Assist physicians during in-office surgeries, excisions, biopsies, and cosmetic treatments Support patients with medication instructions and guidance Act as a scribe for the provider during visits Work one-on-one with dermatologists and physician assistants Receive comprehensive in-office training Learn to use our electronic medical record (EMR) system Gain additional support through our custom MA training manual Qualifications Job Type: Full-time In-Person (32-36 hours/week) 4 days a week (3-day weekend) 3 days in Lansdowne 1 day in Aldie Experience: Prior medical assisting experience is strongly preferred Completion of a medical assistant training program is helpful, but not required Previous clinical experience with direct patient contact is preferred Background in other healthcare roles is also valued Excellent opportunity for Pre-MD or Pre-PA candidates looking for hands-on experience Education: High school diploma or equivalent Certifications/Licenses: Medical Assisting Certification is preferred Salary Starts at $18.00 hourly and increases with years of experience Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
