Position Overview: CNC Operator Sign on bonus up to $1000. We are looking for a CNC Operator to support daily production and ensure quality standards are met in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Essential Functions Operate a minimum of 2 machines while maintaining 100% efficiency Produce quality parts that meet blueprint specifications Perform daily preventative maintenance checks on machines Remove chips and maintain machine cleanliness Maintain coolant, grease, and lubricating oils Stock machines with raw materials Read and interpret blueprints accurately Measure parts according to specifications Assist with machine setups when needed Make machine adjustments as required Sharpen and change tools as needed Use SPC (Statistical Process Control) as required Complete daily production tickets accurately Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all safety procedures and company policies Adjust machine offsets and tooling as required Change tooling, inserts, and offsets Change thread rolls, reinstall attachments, and other attachments Assist with machine adjustments and troubleshooting Requirements And Skills 2-3 years’ experience operating more than 2 machines, CNC lathes and/or CNC Swiss style machines Able to read and understand blueprints Proficient in the use of calipers, micrometers and other measurement devices Capable of lifting 35-40 lbs Knowledge of cutting tools used in CNC machines Able to make adjustments on the machine Good communication skills High attention to detail Good technical and mathematical skills Bilingual English/Spanish preferred Job Type Full‑time Schedule Monday – Friday; overtime available 1st Shift: 6:00 am – 4:30 pm or 7:00 am – 5:30 pm Salary Range $20–27/hr Why Choose a Career as a CNC Operator at Avanti Engineering?
