Operations Manager

Operations ManagerHanes Geo Components (HGC) in Butner, NC, a division of Leggett & Platt Inc., is seeking an Operations Manager. HGC is the leading distributor of geosynthetics, erosion control, and soil stabilization products used in the construction industry.Responsibilities/DutiesManage shipping and production employeesEstablish a shipping, receiving, and production schedule dailyEstablish inbound/outbound logistics dailyCoordinate with the Corporate purchasing team for material planningDirect supervision of employeesAdditional duties may be requiredQualificationsThe qualified candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in supervision and provide exceptional leadership. Basic forklift knowledge is required.Adequate computer skills for ticket printing, inventory tracking, shipping reporting, and employee time reportingExperience with cycle counting is preferredMust be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite- or comparable systemsExcellent communication skillsAn associate or bachelor's degree in a business-related field or operations management is preferredHanes Companies is a people-first organization dedicated to providing a complete benefits package for our employees and their families.
