Greater Houston Area, TX, USA – Hybrid About the Talent & Engagement Coordinator Position The Talent & Engagement Coordinator supports the employee experience across two key areas: employee engagement and recruiting coordination. This role helps bring our remote-first culture to life by owning recurring engagement programs, coordinating employee recognition and events, supporting culture-focused communications, and helping create meaningful connection across the organization. The Talent & Engagement Coordinator also supports the recruiting process by coordinating requisition intake, interview scheduling, candidate communication, phone screens, applicant tracking, and the transition of hired candidates into onboarding. What You’ll Do Coordinate virtual employee engagement, culture, recognition, and employee experience initiatives across the organization. Lead the company Culture Committee, including member guidelines, member selection, meetings, and execution of committee initiatives. Develop and maintain the employee engagement calendar and coordinate related internal communications, recognition posts, and culture content. Assist with the planning and coordination of virtual and Houston‑based employee events Manage culture and recognition programs that celebrate employee contributions, reinforce company values, and strengthen connection across the organization. Partner with internal teams to develop customer stories and other content that highlights the impact of the company’s work. Create internal communications, presentations, graphics, and event materials using Canva, PowerPoint, and similar tools. Research employee engagement ideas, vendors, trends, and opportunities to support culture and employee experience initiatives. Coordinate the recruiting process from approved requisition through candidate handoff, including role intake, requisition setup, interview scheduling, and candidate communication. Conduct initial candidate phone screens, maintain accurate candidate records, and manage candidate movement through the applicant tracking and onboarding process. Support HR and hiring managers with recruiting administration, reporting, process improvements, and efforts to deliver a consistent and positive candidate experience. Coordinate employee videos, testimonials, and other content that highlight employee experiences and support employer branding and marketing initiatives. Partner with internal subject‑matter experts to develop educational content, interviews, and resources that showcase the company’s expertise and services. What You’ll Need Minimum of 2 years of experience coordinating virtual employee engagement, culture, or employee experience initiatives in a remote work environment. At least 1 year of experience in a customer‑focused or employee‑focused role requiring frequent verbal and written feedback, communication, and follow‑up Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and recurring responsibilities. Personable, outgoing, and comfortable building relationships and communicating with employees and candidates across all levels. Strong research, problem‑solving, written communication, and follow‑through skills. Tech‑savvy and comfortable working across multiple systems and platforms; experience with Microsoft 365, Slack, and SharePoint is preferred. Experience creating presentations, graphics, or internal communications using Canva, PowerPoint, or similar tools. Experience with applicant tracking systems, preferably Breezy HR. Must reside in the Greater Houston area and be available to support occasional in‑person initiatives. What Success Looks Like Success in this role will be measured by: A consistent, well‑organized employee engagement calendar with at least one virtual engagement activity coordinated each month. A structured and sustainable Culture Committee process with clear guidelines, membership, and follow‑through. Consistent execution of birthday, anniversary, recognition, swag, customer story, and other culture communications and programs. Effective coordination of Houston‑based and team engagement events when requested. Regularly develops and delivers engaging employee and subject‑matter content that strengthens employer branding, supports marketing efforts, and showcases the company’s people and expertise. A clear and reliable recruiting intake and approval process. Timely, accurate interview scheduling and candidate movement from ATS to HRIS. A professional and consistent candidate experience supported by responsive communication and strong organization. Becoming a visible, approachable resource who helps employees feel connected and supported in a remote‑first environment. Compensation Salary Range : $55,000 - $62,500 Internal Candidates: The posted salary range reflects the external hiring range.
