Alternative Dispute Resolution Assistant

The New York State Unified Court System, New York City Civil Court , is recruiting for two (2) positions in the Analyst Series . These positions will be filled in one of the following titles and will be dependent on the qualifications and experience of the applicants selected: Assistant Court Analyst or Court Analyst . This position is assigned to and will support the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Coordinator and the ADR Unit within the NYC Civil Court. This is a citywide position serving the Civil Court across the five boroughs of New York City and may occasionally require travel to Civil Court locations throughout the city. Key Responsibilities Administering and monitoring ADR case flow. Scheduling ADR events and notifying parties. Reviewing submissions for accuracy and communicating deficiencies to attorneys and litigants. Preparing referral orders, court forms, practitioner report summaries, and routine correspondence. Entering, verifying, and maintaining case information and statistical data in case management systems. Compiling and analyzing data for reports, summaries, and public documents; coordinating with judges, court staff, community dispute resolution centers, and partner agencies on ADR scheduling and case status. Serving as a primary point of contact for inquiries from the public, attorneys, and external organizations. Providing guidance on ADR procedures, document requirements, and scheduling. Developing outreach materials, including brochures, presentations, and social media content. Assisting with community engagement activities and evaluating outreach effectiveness. Supporting internal and external communications to ensure consistent messaging. Assisting in training new staff on ADR procedures and data systems. Monitoring workflow and assigning tasks to subordinate personnel. Providing project, administrative, and operational support to the ADR Unit. Qualifications Court Analyst : One year in the Assistant Court Analyst title; or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and one (1) year of relevant experience; or Master’s degree in Public or Business Administration from an accredited college or university; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Base Salary: $64,971 + $4,920 Location Pay Assistant Court Analyst : One year in the Junior Court Analyst title; or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; or high school diploma or the equivalent and four (4) years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr New York State Unified Court System
