The Glen Retirement System is seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk with strong time management and organizational skills.   
 Come join our TEAM!

ASSIGNED SHIFT: Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Accounts Payable for all facilities, including but not limited to:
    • Input all invoices into software program for payment processing
    • Maintain W-9’s and Certificates of Insurance for all vendors
    • Prepare sales & use tax for all facilities
    • Prepare 1099 forms at year end
  2. Assist with billing:
    • Make bank deposits using Express Deposit software
    • Post deposits in financial software
    • Reconcile and bill ancillary charges
  3. Maintain office supplies 
  4. Assist Staff Accountant and Controller with special projects.
Other related projects, duties and responsibilities may be assigned as deemed necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be people-oriented individual, have good communication skills, and the ability to work with a diverse group of people.  
  • Well organized and self-motivated.  
  • Experience with Business Central is a plus
  • Computer skills appropriate to job functions (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word) 
  • General administrative and clerical skills
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Must be able to fulfill job requirements in a high-energy, high-traffic area
  • Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds; push/pull up to 90 pounds.
  • Extended periods of sitting, walking, standing, typing, bending, reaching
