Registered Nurse - Acute Rehabilitation

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, with rotating weekends and holidays as scheduled.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care to patients in an acute rehabilitation setting, focusing on conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injury (TBI), spinal cord injuries, and amputations. The role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and participating in patient assessments and care plans.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care and administer prescribed medications.
• Participate in team conferences for care planning and coordination.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the healthcare team.
• Support patients in their rehabilitation goals through effective care practices.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the EPIC charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess a valid RN license.
• At least 1 year of experience in inpatient acute care.
• BLS certification required.
