Recruitment And Placement Specialist

The primary purpose of this position is to provide recruitment and placement advice and guidance to managers in support of the installation Civilian Personnel Office.

Duties GS-7

• Performs recruitment and placement assignments. In a developmental capacity, performs recruitment and placement assignments involving positions in clerical and assistant, technical, and trades worker occupations
• Provides recruitment and placement, and affirmative employment and advisory services
• Participates in special initiatives, studies and projects, and affirmative employment activities
• Prepares written correspondence and other documents

• In a developmental capacity, provides recruitment and placement services for positions in installation-level organizations
• Performs recruitment and placement advisory services
• Participates in special initiatives, studies and projects
• Prepares written correspondence and other documents

Duties GS-11

• Performs the full range of Recruitment and Placement advisory services. Provides staffing advisory services based on the serviced organization's local, regional, or national staffing priorities and takes proactive measures to anticipate management's needs by pre-positioning work products in expectation of new projects and programs
• Exercises knowledge and skill in applying HR methods, principles and evaluative methods/ sufficient to advise on and/or resolve moderately complex problems which can be unprecedented in nature
