Job Description

As a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor & Delivery, you will provide high-quality care to maternal, newborn, and pediatric patients. You will be responsible for ensuring a safe and supportive environment for mothers and their babies during labor, delivery, and postpartum care. Your duties will include monitoring patient vital signs, assisting with childbirth, and educating patients and families about newborn care.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate nursing care for laboring mothers and newborns.
• Monitor fetal health and maternal well-being during intrapartum and postpartum periods.
• Assist in labor and delivery procedures.
• Educate patients on postpartum care and infant health.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams to enhance patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in North Carolina.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery.
• Charge experience preferred.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, STABLE, AWHON Fetal Monitoring.
