Wound Care Nurse

Wound Care Nurse Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Wound Care Nurse to join our team at Mountainside Nursing Home in Mountainside, New Jersey. As a Wound Care Nurse, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality wound care services to our residents. Responsibilities Assess and develop individualized wound care plans for our residents Perform wound care treatments, including debridement, dressing changes, and other interventions Monitor and evaluate wound progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care Educate residents and their families on wound care techniques and expectations Maintain accurate and timely documentation of wound care services Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve wound care outcomes Requirements Current RN or LPN licensure in the state of New Jersey 5 years of experience in wound care or a related field Degree in nursing, Certification in wound care preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lift and transfer residents as needed What We Offer Competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package How to Apply If you are a dedicated and compassionate Wound Care Nurse looking for a new opportunity, please apply to this exciting role at Mountainside Nursing Home.
