About the Role Since 2012, Giving Home Health Care has been supporting individuals impacted by health conditions related to their work in nuclear facilities for the Department of Energy. With a focus on personalized, in-home care, we are committed to assisting those who have dedicated their careers to these vital roles. We proudly serve patients across Arizona, Colorado, Kentucky, Missouri, Nevada, New Mexico, Tennessee, Texas, and Utah. We are looking for a compassionate HHA or CNA in Chimayo, NM to administer patient care in accordance with a physician established care plan. Position Details This role is a 1099 contract opportunity with care provided at the patient’s residence. Once our patients are accepted into the program, there is no expiration for this benefit, allowing caregivers to build lasting relationships with their patients for years to come. Schedule: 6 hours a day, preferred start time 10 or 11 am. You’ll advocate for the patients and work one‑on‑one to provide them with the care they need. The role will collaborate with CNAs, HHAs, case managers, and the patient’s physicians. Responsibilities Work with the patient in their home to provide one‑on‑one service in a comfortable and familiar setting. Assist with the patient’s activities of daily living and personal care. Light housekeeping. Meal preparation. Monitor vitals (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc.) according to the plan of care. Remind patient to take medication as prescribed. Maintain records and documentation of services. Communicate with the patient’s family, doctors, and other prescribed individuals regarding the patient’s health and care. Ability to monitor vital signs. Dependable transportation. Current CPR certification. Qualifications & Requirements Compassionate and patient‑focused. Experience as an HHA or CNA. Ability to work independently in a patient’s home. Reliable transportation. Background check clearance.
